Requires a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or working in a financial services accounting capacity for a multinational business. In lieu of a Masters degree in stated field and 2 years of experience as stated, will accept a Bachelors degree in stated field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or working in a corporate accounting group for a multinational business. All stated experience must include the following Reviewing and approving the accounting records generated in an ERP system PeopleSoft or similar for various types of business entities and ensuring the reasonableness of the presentation of their financial performance; Working with multiple crossfunctional departments to ensure effective internal controls that govern the financial information and to meet internal and external compliance reporting; Creating and utilizing complex formulas in MS Excel including macros and vlookups; Working on accounting process improvement projects; and, applying global accounting standards including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS. Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training andor experience which would qualify an applicant for this position.
