Specific Skills

The minimum requirements for the position of Mechanical Engineer III are a Bachelors or higher degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field, and a minimum of three 3 years of engineering experience, which includes product development. Knowledge of DFM practices and experience with a variety of manufacturing processes including injectionmolded plastics, formed sheet metal, Machining, castings, extrusions, welding, adhesives, finishes, etc. Experience with advanced engineering analysis and simulation software for FEA, Thermal analysis and CHT. Experience with PLM systems and configuration management. Direct handson experience in design and building prototypes in the last 3 years. Expert knowledge in 3D CAD systems. Solid Works experience is preferred. Enjoys working in a handson, unstructured, fastpaced, informal startup environment.
