The absolute minimum requirements include a Juris Doctorate, a license to practice law in Tennessee and Washington, D.C. and two 2 years of experience as an attorney which must include corporate transactional work, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, economic development projects related to nonUS manufacturing companies, private fundraising, private equity financing, and business transactions, including cross border joint venture transactions representing both buyers and sellers, and drafting, negotiating, and reviewing transaction documents including commercial contracts and working with Chinese transactional law.
