Must have 3 years of experience with the following skills advanced knowledge of the conventional and nonconventional manufacturing processes used in manufacture of power generation turbine components; ability to lead internal and supplier product and process qualifications for power generation turbine components; ability to understand detailed product technical specifications; advanced knowledge in GDT; experience working in a crossfunctional global team of design, manufacturing, and quality engineers to develop and manufacture of power generation turbine components; act as a design reviewer and integrated product team lead for complex new product development projects; experience in leading cost productivity product development projects within the organization; experience developing product cost estimates, capital and development expense budgets, resources, and project schedules; experience performing technical readiness reviews includes prototyping and detailed process controls review to ensure the product is ready to be manufactured; experience in reading blueprints and conduct detailed first piece qualification reviews; experience in developing Manufacturing Quality control process plans, Process capacity capability studies, Standard work documents and Quality control charts; experience in leading concurrent design and manufacturing efforts to ensure successful implementation of lean product design within budget; experience in developing and maintaining quality process manuals and procedures in the QMS system; experience in leading product and process quality audits; experience in supply chain and familiarity with ERP software; and experience in working with six sigma tools methodology like DMAIC and DFSS techniques. Must be certified in Lean concepts in manufacturing and design. Approximately 5 travel required.
