Minimum Requirements Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field and three 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a business intelligencedata analytics consultant related occupation.br br Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites within commuting distance of Slalom, LLCs New York, NY office.br br Special Requirementsbr Position requires experience in each of the following skillsbr 1 Create Tableau, PowerBI, Looker or other BI solutions and required supporting architecture e.g., data marts, semantic layer for data visualization dashboards.br 2 Query and configure data using SQL, or Power Query query languages.br 3 Perform data analysismachine learning or transformations with coding languages or scripting, including either R, R Shiny, or Python.br 4 Perform ETL with a variety of query languages and Cloud platforms and configure data models in common Cloud environments including either Amazon Web Services AWS or Google Cloud Platform GCP.br 5 Create databases, spreadsheets, or outputs with scheduled data loads and pulls from various data warehouses Hive, Hadoop, etc. and manipulate data architecture as needed for optimization.br 6 Define business needs and translate them into customized analytics solutions with Key Performance Indicators KPIs and other aggregated metrics for dynamic usage within dashboards.br 7 Implement design best practices for data visualization with a focus on storytelling through data visualization, development of dashboard templates and style guides for desktop, web, and mobile viewing.br 8 Experience leading client workshops, designs sessions, project meetings, or otherwise presenting technical work and strategic recommendations directly to clients.br 9 Ability to synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for strategic actions on client projects.br 10 Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users with experience testing and automating data refreshes, and incremental testing and dashboard deployment to Production environments.br 11 Create functional and technical documentation for Business Intelligence solutions.
