Experience must include eighteen months of preparing federal and state income tax extensions for CCorporations, Partnerships, and Real Estate Investment Trusts REITs; utilizing tax software, including GoSystem and Corptax, to prepare federal, state, local, and international income tax returns, and calculate estimated tax and process filings; utilizing tax research tools, including BNA, CCH, and RIA Checkpoint, to provide tax compliance and consulting services and to mitigate tax risks and regulation violations for various clients; preparing ownership analysis under domestic and international tax structures, valuation allowance for private equity funds, and Schedule K1s and footnotes tailored to the applicable tax situation of each partner; preparing quarterly income tests and annual asset tests for REITs, and working with teams to prepare dividends and U.S.sourced income withholding tax returns Forms 1042S and 1099 for foreign investors in REITs; preparing partnership allocations in accordance with ASC 704; and mentoring and coaching junior staff.
