Also requires skills 1 yr exp in documenting the requirements, design, and testing of electronics; creating schematics, PCBs, HDL code, BOMs, and test protocols; PCB layout, fabrication, and assembly processes; FPGA and microcontrollersmicroprocessor controlled devices, writing and debugging basic code; Altium PCB designlayout tools, CC programming, Verilog, Altera, and Zilinx design tools, Cypress Semiconductor devices and tools, and IAR Workbench; oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, test equipment, motors, and sensors; leading multidisciplinary teams and working in a crossfunctional engineering environment.br br BUSINESS NECESSITY Further to H.12 All job opportunity requirements are normal except that the minimum requirements for this job appear to exceed the typical requirements per the OES Job Zone 4 definition. The job requirements are absolutely necessary for this particular type and level of position, because a Sr. Electrical Engineer is a critical advanced Senior level position within our structure. This position involves high level technical work using stateoftheart tools, technologies, and processes. The work involves such critical activities as the following designing custom electronic analog and mixed signal systems at board level; performing rigorous analysis of solutions for product performance; overseeing design review meetings and documenting relevant feedback to ensure design and process development meet requirements; architecting, planning, and overseeing execution of complex optoelectric solutions; and directing project team members to address, identify, and resolve field issues. Such abilities only come with the required minimum level of qualifications. The job requirements bear a reasonable relationship to the occupation of Sr. Electrical Engineer in the contact of our business, and the requirements are essential to perform the job in a reasonable manner.
