Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field, plus 5 five years of progressive experience in an engineering environment, and demonstrated experience in the followingbr One or more areas of ESD, EMC, EMI andor product safety testing.br Product development and application in at least one area of domestic and international standards, including for example, FCC, UL, CSA, European Norms, RFbased measurement and standards governing GPS, ANT, or Bluetooth.br Applying design principles in one or more areas of power supply, circuit design, radio frequency RF signal integrity, RF shielding, electrical shock and thermal hazards.br Performing certification to the regulatory standards pertaining to each technology in the product design, including FCC, ENEU standards.br Working with global compliance and product development processes, including FCC and IECEN.br Applying hardware architecture into regulatory compliant design solutions, including reviewing schematics for EMC design or safety design.br Familiarity with electrical schematics, mechanical design and PCB layout for EMC safety design.br Resolving design issues as they relate to compliance engineering.br Summarizing written regulations for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.br In lieu of a Bachelors degree plus five years of progressive experience, will accept a Masters degree in the same plus three years of experience in an engineering environment.
