Prior work experience must include three 3 years in contributing towards research and writing of indepth reports with economic analysis of commodities macro and micro markets; manipulating large data sets including data sets of 1 billion data points per year of economic, market data, and commodity fundamentals into clean, usable datasets; using econometric software such as Eviews, R, Excel, Python, Stata; monitoring oil market developments including OPEC decisions, understanding market moving supply and demand events, and writing daily market commentary on price drivers as well as factual reporting of data releases; applying economic theory to commodity markets, such as shifts in supply and demand curves and marginal price implications; and proficiently applying econometric tools such as seasonal and bias adjustments including using eViews software.br br Prior work experience must include one 1 year in drafting sections of writeups of modeling and analysis of energy markets; and presenting views on commodities, global macro and portfolio strategy views to clients including sales and trading teams.br br FINRA SIE, Series 77TO and 63 licenses required.br br Travel may be required quarterly domestically or internationally to both meet clients and attend GS organized industry conferences.
