Specific Skills

Must have at least a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field, and at least 10 years of experience in the job offered or 10 years of powertrain development experience in either electric, hybrid electric, or fuel cell electric vehicles. All stated experience must include at least 3 years of experience in each of the following Electric vehicle and electrified powertrain control systems design, including systemsubsystem level tradeoff analysis utilizing advanced simulation and analysis tools, i.e. modelbased simulation; Working with electric vehicle operating modes and how to design for competing objectives performance, efficiency, cost; Developing summary reports and making leadership presentations designed to guide and influence company strategy decisions; Developing embedded controls systems for powertrains, e.g. combustion engine, transmission, driveline, or electrification scope; and Working with control module operation and vehicle network communication. Stated experience must also include at least 2 years of experience in each of the following Systems engineering lifecycle development, including requirements definition and management, subsystem architecture and design, specification development, and using verificationvalidation methodology; Working with electric and hybrid vehicle architectures, systems, subsystems at various voltage levels, including component design, selection, and matching; Working handson in controls, calibration, or troubleshooting of powertrain systems; and Working on at least 2 production launch programs where the product reaches market.
