Specific Skills

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related plus six years of related experience is required, or in the alternative, Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related plus eight years of related experience. PE license is required. Must have experience with both grounding and substation design including protection and control, and physical design, layout, equipment clearance. Must have experience to perform and review electrical calculations such as lightning protection, AC DC auxiliary power calculations, lighting, arc flash, and medium voltage feeder calculations. Must have experience operating computerassisted engineering or design software either CDEGS or WinIGS to perform and review calculations for grounding analysis for substation and generation facilities. Must have performed complete grounding analysis for a minimum of three years. Must have experience with onsite resistivity testing. Must have a working knowledge of IEEE 80, 81, and NEC 250 standards. Must be capable to develop technical training material and conduct training for younger professionals. Travel required to client sites within the U.S. up to 10 of time. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English. All applicants must be able to complete preemployment onboarding requirements if selected which may include anyall of the following criminalcivil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
