Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires five 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a tire manufacturing facility, including five 5 years project engineering experience for creating capital investment and expense projects for tire manufacturing equipment, including the full project lifecycle from conceptual idea, preparing the capital request eCR, installation, and ramp up support; four 4 years using technical, analytical, and problemsolving, and leadership skills within a manufacturing environment; working with Machine and Equipment Standards for new equipment or upgrades making sure equipment meets internal technical requirements, including reading electrical drawings EPLAN and CAD drawings of the new equipment; three 3 years process experience with tire curing presses, automated tire transport conveyor systems, and final tire inspection equipment final finishing area; PLC fault finding and commissioning experience in Siemens and Beckhoff control systems and ecosystems such as Siemens SG drives, WinCC, Profinet, and System Manager; two 2 years working with Manufacturing Execution Systems, including shop floor machine orders such as SAP, shop floor execution systems such as SFI, and tire routing software such as MCat; working with data processing and analysis tools, such as MS Excel, Report Builder, PowerBI, or similar. Must provide maintenance engineering support after normal working hours when needed.
