This position requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 2 years of work experience in Electrical Equipment Manufacturing and Backup Power Systems. Also must have of work experience with 1. Utilizing the knowledge of backup power systems and associated equipment to develop new products and maintain existing product lines; 2.Utilizing the knowledge of transfer switching UL, NEC, NFPA, IEC codes to write code compliant requirements and product design specifications for engineering; 3. Utilizing Modeling Software to develop UseCases, Sequence Diagrams, and Activity Diagrams to explain customer scenarios to engineering; 5. Utilizing Excel andor other data sources to conduct data, margin, market and financial performance analysis, create new product or product evolution business plans, and mold product pricing strategy; 6. Utilizing AutoCAD 2D to modify outlines and wirings to provide specific views for customer presentations; 7. Utilizing simulators and products prototypes for testing and demonstration of new transfer switch products; 8. Utilizing electrical equipment manufacturing and supply chain processes to manage product availability and customer expectations; 9. Utilizing the Synergy tool to control the quotability and orderability of transfer switch configurations, accessories, and custom kits; and 10. Utilizing electrical engineering principles to guide relay design and other component integration fuses, transformers, power supplies, meters etc. for the creation of new accessories and bills of materials.
