Must have at least one year of experience in each of the following 1. Identifying environmental risks and developing risk management strategies for civil engineering projects; 2. Developing storm surge and vulnerability models including modeling flood and wind risks due to hurricanes; 3. Developing and calibrating hurricane wind, storm surge, and inland flood vulnerability functions; 4. Estimating AAL, PML, and loss cost for hurricane wind and storm surge; 5. Developing and coding models in Matlab and building probabilistic models to estimate catastrophic hurricane risk; and 6. Performing model testing, including sensitivity, uncertainty, relatively, and stability tests; and 7. Analyzing data using SQL and GIS.
