Clari, Inc. Clari specializes in a cloudbased, enterprise sales forecasting and execution platform. The Software Engineer position is not entrylevel; it is an integral part of growing and maintaining our operations. In order to develop software systems, infrastructure and features for Claris cloudbased platform, the Software Engineer must have skills inwith the following ObjectOriented Programming; Data Manipulation; Website Logic and RESTful Representational State Transfer APIs Application Programming Interfaces; Web Application Frameworks, including Ruby on Rails; WiFi and Mobile Applications; and Operating Systems and Memory Virtualization. She must use these skills to design, implement, test, and improve systems to specific user experience. She must be skilled within Data Manipulation to identify and analyze all relevant data to develop and test applications and endproduct. She must be skilled inwith Operating Systems and Memory Virtualization to monitor system functionality and maintain, optimize, and upgrade Claris mobile infrastructure to support the most recent protocols. She must also be skilled within ObjectOriented Programming to design and release new features on the crossplatform based application. Additionally, she must be skilled within Web Application Frameworks, including Ruby on Rails to liaise with clients andor internal departments regarding project status and software system design, and plan and develop robust web application forms and User Experience elements of Claris platform that delivers information packages to clients; follow Claris engineering processes, including requirements gathering and software design, to implement Claris technological enhancements; and perform software testing including code review, documentation, code coverage, and unit tests. She must be skilled inwith WiFi and Mobile Applications to develop detailed technical test cases for various types of interfaces, ensure test data is in place to support testing, validate the data from complex software testing and preand postrelease reports, and participate in feature releases, maintenance, and upgrades. Without an advanced, theoretical background gained through at least a Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, or related, the applicant would not possess the advanced knowledge gained from academic coursework, research project, teaching assistantship, or practical training through internship or coop required for the role. The educational requirement and the required advanced knowledge bear a reasonable relationship to the occupation in the context of our business and are essential to perform the job in a reasonable manner. Because Claris business involves realtime engagement data and insights platform to manage cloud applications that is on the cutting edge of the industry, a lower degree e.g. a Bachelors degree or Associates degree in the same field does not provide the theoretical and advanced knowledge required to be able to contribute to our unique and industryshaping technologies. Likewise, experience instead of an advanced degree would not provide the level of theoretical and advanced knowledge required for the position at Clari.
