Must have two years of experience with performing data analysis, buildingmanaging relational databases within a K12 setting, as well as producing high quality impact reports using PowerSchool or a similar student information management system.br Qualifications of the Foreign National As detailed in Section J, the foreign national is qualified for the job opportunity. Specifically, she earned a Master of Science degree in Information Quality from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock in May of 2016. She also has over two 2 years experience as a Data Administrator in a K12 setting. She has been employed by Hyde Leadership Charter School, which is a K12 public charter school funded and accredited by the State of New York, as a Student Data Administrator from June 02, 2016 through September 15th, 2020.br Please note that the position of Data Administrator is not substantially comparable to the position of Data Manager Assessment Coordinator as the positions require the performance of different job duties in excess of 50 of the time. The Data Administrator role was more junior and focused upon creating reports and providing them to Data Managers, and not directly to higher management. The Data Manager Assessment Coordinator has a much higher level responsibility for analyzing the data in detail, identifying trends, and providing solutions and decisions related to the full range of compliance with city and state datarelated regulations for schools and operational activities of the School. Specifically, the Data Administrator role revolved solely around reporting on basic student data and providing quality assurance on the accuracy of such data. The foreign national applied statistics and other mathematical tools to student data to assess and improve internal practices. She used data to build reports to assist with understanding student population, enrollment, retention rates, student performance data as well as staff student demographic information. As a Data Administrator approximately 20 of her duties involved decisionmaking for those matters within her purview.br In stark contrast, as a Data Manager Assessment Coordinator, the foreign nationals responsibilities have expanded into being primarily responsible for all data analysis, consolidation, and reporting domains within the organization including grades, honor roll, enrollment and retention rates, student performance data as well as staff and student demographic information. At least 20 of her time she is required to analyze the annual Department of Education School Quality Review and make recommendations for improvement based on analysis of school data available. At least 20 of the time she must maintain and run the reports pertaining to student conduct report the schools disciplinary data as part of the DASA quot;Dignity for All Studentsquot; report as required by the NYS DOE. Approximately 20 of her time, she collaborates with senior executives to develop and maintain comprehensive management of database systems. In this role approximately forty percent 40of her duties involve decisionmaking for the matters within her purview. Unlike the junior Data Administrator role, this role includes frequent interfacing with senior executives and carries with it overall responsibility for driving, improving and analyzing the schools data gathering and analysis methods, as well as ensuring compliance with a broad range of city and state educationrelated data gathering and retention regulations.
