Background in education, training or experience must include Quality Management experience in Industrial Manufacturing environment; demonstrated knowledge of Quality Engineering Systems applicable to Industrial Manufacturing; solid knowledgeexperience with Quality Management Systems including auditing to ISO 9001, International Automotive Task Force IATF, or similar standards; solid knowledgeexperience with Original Equipment OE requirements including Production Part Approval Process PPAP, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GDT, Failure Mode Effects Analysis FMEA, Control Plans, and other statistical methods; strong written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to use the necessary computer software applications appropriate for this position e.g. Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.; strong knowledge of problemsolving tools including 8D and 6Sigma; knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and management 5S, JIT, SMED, Standardized work, etc.; strong project management skills and expertlevel handson experience in manufacturing process andor quality including but not limited to Injection and compression molding processes, and Design of Experiments.
