NYCB is now a division of Flagstar Bank, N.A.br br The acquisition creates one of the largest regional banks in the country, operating 395 branches across a ninestate franchise, including strong footholds in the Northeast and Midwest and exposure to high growth markets in the Southwest and West Coast. Through the Flagstar Mortgage division, the Company will operate nationally through 81 retail home lending offices in 26 states and a wholesale network of approximately 3,000 thirtyparty mortgage originators.br br The acquisition does not change the location of the Banks inhouse IT Department which will remain at the Regional Branch Office in Troy, Michigan. The Banks CIO is also headquartered in Troy, Michigan. The Banks Federal Employer Identification Number FEIN also remains the same.br br EXPLANATION OF BUSINESS NECESSITY FOR POSITION REQUIREMENTSbr br Flagstar Bank, NA offers a wide range of financial products and services for individuals and businesses, from consumer loans and credit cards to cash management and merchant services. We bring the full resources of a commercial bank to our customers. We are also a national leader in home lending with loan centers across the country.br br Due to the technical nature of the services we provide and the myriad of regulatory requirements that our Bank must adhere to, Flagstar maintains its own inhouse IT department, which is responsible for designing software programs and maintaining our IT infrastructure specifically tailored to meet the needs of our Bank and to continually increase the efficiency of our services while protecting and maintaining the confidentiality of the financial and banking records of our customers.br br The position of Senior Business Analyst IT is an essential position within the Bank. The Senior Business Analyst IT implements technology solutions in a cost effective manner by determining the business requirements of projects or programs. The Senior Business Analyst IT participates in every stage of software development and or implementation lifecycle and is responsible for mentoring junior colleagues.br br To adequately perform the duties, it is necessary that the Senior Business Analyst IT, possess, at a minimum, the educational and experience requirements as set forth above.br br A person who fills the proffered position within the Bank cannot properly carry out the duties and responsibilities of a Senior Business Analyst IT without the required experience in the stated skill sets and formal education.
