Cont. from H.11 prepare project deliverables, technical reports and presentation materials for existing projects and project proposals; develop detailed work plans that identify the necessary tasks and associated durations to complete a project; research, build and maintain working knowledge of domestic and international aviation industry news, existing and new legislation, policies and guidelines as well as current and future trends pertaining to airport design and planning.br br Requires Masters degree in Urban Planning, Airport Management, or Airport Planning, or foreign equivalent plus coursework, internships, or experience to include serving as the lead aviation planner for onairport facility design projects and offairport design projects; compiling and analyzing data and preparing documentation for feasibility studies, environmental assessments, airport alternative analyses, land acquisition, capital improvement plans, benefit cost analyses, and creation of airport layout plan drawing sets as directed; assisting, participating, and preparing planning studies concerned with development and improvement of airport properties and facilities, including reviewing airport development projects for compliance with domestic and international standards for Airport Master Plans conceptual development and narrative descriptions, site analysis, aviation activity forecast, demandcapacity analysis, concept development and preliminary plans, alternative analysis, feasibility studies, Landuse Compatibility Plan, Capital Improvement Program and Airport Layout Plans over a 20year planning horizon; providing and applying subject matter expertise pertaining to critical terminal planning activities and airport operations; conducting and attending onsite meetings with client and other stakeholders to establish project requirements, review project progress and discuss potential solutions as well as present deliverables; working with clients, internal project teams and other stakeholder of project risks and consults on appropriate technical actions; conducting related planning research to compile and analyze data, sketches, photographs, notes and other input materials to determine best approach to apply research data; solving technical issues, applying aviation planning principles and processes, using design software such as BIM, CAD and AviPlan to create solutions that address factors affecting aviation and airport operations, and comply with domestic FAA andor international ICAO aviation regulations and guidelines; participating in project team discussions to provide recommendations when revisions from government agencies, and other stakeholder groups are provided and performing the necessary modifications of drawings and specifications; developing conceptual layouts, exhibits, presentations and descriptive reports in the context of airport master plans, airport planning studies, feasibility studies, project books and project reports as requested; coordinating project tasks and responsibilities with multiple team members to ensure timely submission of project deliverables; preparing project deliverables, technical reports and presentation materials for existing projects; developing detailed work plans that identify the necessary tasks and associated durations to complete a project; researching, building and maintaining working knowledge of domestic and international aviation industry news, existing and new legislation, policies and guidelines as well as current and future trends pertaining to airport design and planning.
