Experience must have included Working with construction companies to assess current operating condition and design performance improvement strategies and processes in the areas of construction management, labor productivity, andor occupational health and safety; Deployment of IoT, mobile and automation solutions to improve the measurement of construction labor productivity utilizing technologies including i mobile applications for field data capture, ii cloud hosted data warehouse capabilities optimized with business intelligence reporting, and iii the use of reallocation sensing technologies including LoRA, UWB, BLE, or WLAN; Working with international engineering, procurement and construction EPCEPCM firms; Project controls management including development of baseline estimates, control budget development and generation of work breakdown structures including covering the range of project control disciplines including cost, schedule, estimating, management of earned value reporting and risk on capital projects in excess of USD 250m; Project management experience on both direct hire construction and general contractingsubcontracting projects including the use of mobile and cloudbased construction project management and scheduling software for tracking labor productivity; Development and implementation of management systems for construction quality, health and safety including the use of cloudhosted and mobile technology solutions for field data capture and reporting; and Application of emerging internet of things IoT and realtime location sensing technologies to construction management processes within construction projects as part of advanced labor benchmarking initiatives.br br DUTIES CONTINUED FROM H.11br br Performing project management functions, such as reviewing or writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing policies and procedures and purchasing of materials or contracted services. Interfacing with construction contractor executives on business operations strategies and change management protocols to ensure deployment success. Presenting and explaining proposals, reports or findings to clients and potential customers. Consulting andor negotiating with clients to prepare project specifications. Development of baseline estimates, control budget development and generation of work breakdown structures including covering the range of project control disciplines including cost, schedule, estimating, management of earned value reporting and risk on capital projects in excess of USD 250m. Assessing project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs or market demand. Leading research and development initiatives, including strategic partnering opportunities and hardware selection initiatives and serving as main point of interface between Rhumbix and educational institutions, including the civil engineering departments at Stanford and UC Berkeley whose research initiatives overlap with elements of Rhumbix software development, as well as guest lecturing at colleges for postgrad and master programs on construction management. Working with 3rd party stakeholders and research institutions on the selection and integration of IoT and RealTime Location Sensing Technology into construction management processes and workflows. Working with industry and stakeholder advocacy groups to promote best practices in construction management practices, regulations and legislation. Support project innovation efforts by interacting with public officials engaged with publicly funded work. Will travel 40 US andor Intl to meet with clients and attend sales meetings.
