This position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years related progressive, postbaccalaureate experience. Must also have 24 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 designing and developing RESTful Web services using JVM based programming language, modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new software, and do continuous refactoring to improve performance; 2 providing production support, troubleshooting issues, creating RCA documents, finding best solutions, planning and implementing the solution; 3 operating, maintaining and expanding logging and monitoring tools to ensure system visibilities, and creating dashboards for system metrics; 4 developing complex queries to interact with SQL and NoSQL databases including Oracle and Cassandra database; and 5 utilizing the following technologies Groovy, Java, RESTful API, Microservices, Spring, Kafka, JSON, Swagger, Gradle, Kibana, GIT, Spock, Jacoco, cobertura, SonarQube, Oracle, Cassandra, and hibernate. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance to a Minneapolisarea Target office, as directed.
