Experience must include eighteen months of projecting, configuring, implementing, and maintaining network and security platforms and other related software, including routers and switches Cisco, intrusion detection and prevention, firewalls ASA, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Juniper SRX, SIEM Splunk, web proxies Bluecoat, Zscaler, and WAF Akamai, Zscaler; analyzing data security controls and designed strategies to address security gaps and areas of noncompliance; articulating systems and methodologies as well as replying to securityrelated events and support in remediation efforts by following NIST 80053, state and federal standards, and CIS guidelines; working with clients to form and fix appropriate change requests comprising of tuning and development of the creation of custom intrusion detection and SIEM signatures and rules, including the efficient onboarding and understanding of varying customer log sources into SIEM environments; leading and supporting information security projects by researching, documenting, and assisting with the implementation of network security products, including firewall, web proxies, DDoS mitigation and cloud solutions; improving and implementing security hardening processes for overall infrastructure security, patch management, and documentation utilizing various security tools, including Splunk ES, Akamais cloud solutions, WAF, and multivendor firewalls, access control, and finetune integrations to improve performance; providing level 34 MO support for escalated security incidents and network related incidents; deploying and implementing AWS services, including VPC, Route 53, Security Groups, Direct Connect, EC2, IAM, VM300,700 Palo Alto, VPC peering, Transit gateway, Transit gateway attachments, Internet gateway, and Direct Connect gateway; developing cost estimates for Cloud Managed Services, including gathering business and technical requirements and developing AWS based solution architecture; and writing technical documentations of highlevel designs HLDs, lowlevel designs LLDs, and standard operating procedures SOP for network architecture, operations, troubleshooting, and deployments. Approximately 80 travel required.
