Specific Skills

This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field plus 5 five years of related progressive, postbaccalaureate experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 analyzing, identifying, and developing solution for a strategic topology problem using quantitative modeling and analysis to identify future inventory flow, capacity needs and cost structure; 2 creating and maintaining analytical and statistical models to study correlation, future capacity needs, optimal new building location as well as developing an algorithm for identifying potential new location to grow the supply chain network yielding less financial impact; 3 analyzing supply chain data and ensuring accuracy of all planning datasets and assumptions by through validation and reasonability checks; 4 developing insights through analyzing and visualizing data to inform and influence stakeholders; and 5 retrieving and analyzing large data sets of SKUs, Volume, inventory flow, lead time from different WMS ERP Databases using SQL, Python, Tableau. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Masters program. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance to a Minneapolisarea Target office, as directed.
