Experience must include eighteen months of building and utilizing tools in Python, Advanced Excel, VBA, SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx for data analytics and database management; performing taxable income calculations, including interest, original issue discount, market discount, loan modification, and gainloss on disposition for distressed loans, mortgagebacked securities MBS, assetbacked securities ABS, and other debt instruments; utilizing Alteryx to develop workflows to facilitate data processing and reduce errors, and utilizing SQL to analyze trade data and identify erroneous trades and sanity checks; modeling cash flow schedules for securitized products, calculating accruals OID, MD, Premium, basis, taxable income, and gainloss, and analyzing collateral cash flows; researching securities using Intex, Bloomberg, and CCH; analyzing client portfolios consisting of municipal and corporate bonds, PIK instruments, MBSABS, REOs, and whole loans; coordinating review notes from internal managers and clients, and applying changes to deliverables and processes; interacting directly with the client on questions and issues to facilitate tax calculations and tax analysis, streamlining existing processes, and developing transformations for digital technology process implementations; and performing financial analysis and applying financial models for debts and investments to analyze taxable income.br From H.10B quantitative and financial modeling and data analytics for tax reporting and analysis, including performing tax technical matter research.
