Experience Requirementsbr 3 years of experience in strategic mine planning and design specifically in hard rock, underground, and open pit mines. Experience must have included longrange underground mine planning LOM planning and schedule generation as well as reserves determination.br br br Special Skills Requirementsbr Strong mine planning software experience required, including Deswik, Vulcan, GEOVIA, and Vent Sim;br Working knowledge of mine operations including mine mobile equipment, ground support techniques, mine ventilation, dewatering, compressed air and electrical systems necessary to develop a realistic and effective LOM plan;br Strong knowledge of mine safety regulations;br Strong knowledge of mine ventilation fundamentals and system design;br Knowledge of mine costing and financial techniques to explain variances, evaluate projects and prioritize allocation of resources;br Demonstrated experience developing lifeofmine plans, cost estimates and budget submissions;br Demonstrated experience using industrystandard mine optimization software including LG pit optimizers and AMS MSO;br Mine project evaluation, scoping and fatal flow analysis, and due diligence studies;br Mine assessment on reserve and resource determination;br Demonstrated project management skills as applied to mining or excavation;br Knowledge of mine operations including project evaluation, drilling, blasting, loading and hauling, support, and shaft sinking;br Training or Experience with operation of jackleg drills, jumbo drills, muckers, and LHD machines;br Excellent safety record and demonstrated mine safety leadership required;br Experience in writing technical reports and conducting various levels of mine studies scoping, prefeasibility, feasibility;br Strong understanding of mineral economics;br Exposure to ore resources estimation techniques;br Previous experience in startup for both surface and underground operations;br Must pass preemployment physical and drug screen.br br br Travel 10 business travel.
