Specific Skills

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or foreign equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Expert knowledge AutoCAD skills; Civil 3D is a plus 2 years. Expert knowledge of Autodesk Land Desktop Program 2 years; Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS software; ESRI ArcView; Geographic information system GIS software and Stormwater Design Programs such as HydroCAD are a plus. Basic knowledge of site design including site grading, layout, drainage and utility design. Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain. Proven ability to interpret local zoning and land use ordinances. Must be comfortable on construction sites and coordinating with civil contractors. Effective oral and written communication skills. The ability to meet quality standards and deadlines. Proven working experience in surveyingcivil engineering. Significant client management skills required. Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Experience with computers and computer systems including hardware and software to program, set up functions, enter data, or process information. Candidates must be physically capable of carrying tools over difficult terrain and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
