Alternatively, the employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or related, plus two years of related experience. Related experience must include two years of work experience in data warehousing with exposure to one or more ETL technologies such as IBM DataStage, Informatica, or Oracle Data Integrator ODI, and three years of experience working with Relational Database Systems RDBMS technologies such as Oracle or MS SQL Server; two years of combined work experience with Scripting Languages for ETL such as UNIX Shell Scripting or Python. Experience must also include usage of data warehousing concepts with regards to requirements analysis, ETL design, metadata models, dimensional modeling, implementation of database physical models, and other maintenance activities; proficiency in performance tuning and writing complex SQL queries; and use of the software development life cycle SDLC and experience developing complex IT projects. Local travel may be required to perform work at client locations at least 50 of the time.
