Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus five years of experience in providing tax analysis, planning, and compliance services. Experience must include five years of implementing and utilizing tax technology tools to calculate partnership allocations, capital account maintenances, and for transactional modeling for operating partnerships; assisting with clients tax logic implementation, executing test cases, resolving issues, and preparing enhancements due to legislative updates; assisting clients with the application of 721a and compliance with requirements under 721b and 721c; assisting clients with the application of 743b, 734b, 732, and 752 principles and computations; assisting clients with the interpretation of complex partnership and tax receivable agreements, including reading, interpreting, and executing contracts; discussing issues with seniorlevel client contacts to explain complex issues and develop client relationships; coordinating and executing complex partnership transactions, including large partnerships over 500 partners and K1 10,000 or more K1s, and PTPs publicly traded partnerships; coordinating and executing complex tax projects for clients, including partnership mergers, partnership restructuring, and preIPO UpC structuring; and mentoring and coaching junior team members. In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Masters degree and three years of experience as stated above. Position requires 30 travel.
