Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus five years of accounting and auditing experience in the banking, real estate, and construction industries. Experience must include five years of performing audits in the real estate, banking and construction industry under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards GAAS, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP, Public Company Accounting Oversight Board PCAOB, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants AICPA auditing standards, and International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS; determining riskbased external audit procedures in line with current accounting and auditing guidelines; working with companies to review consolidated financial statements and disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS financial statements reporting requirements; utilizing advanced Excel tools including Pivot Tables, VLookup, macros and specialized audit software, including engagement management software to perform tracking and forecasting for audit engagements; performing analytics on financial statements and analyzing financial ratios; interacting directly with senior management of the audit team and audit clients to discuss auditing issue resolution and continuity; interacting with accounting and auditing specialists within complex accounting areas, including pricing, tax, and information technology specialists; and supervising engagements, including full life cycle of audit, staffing, budgeting, and closing out projects and supervising and reviewing the work of audit teams both on site and overseas. Experience must include two years of performing US GAAP accounting research using Accounting Standard Codification ASC, and performing technical accounting research relating to complex acquisitions, business consolidations, goodwill, IPOs, and administrative reporting units; and testing and evaluating the design and implementation of companys controls under the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations COSO framework and PCAOB regulations. Must possess U.S. CPA license or passage of all four parts of U.S. CPA examination. Position requires 30 travel.
