Experience must include five years of providing independent valuations for tax planning and tax calculation purposes in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including FASB ASC 350, ASC 805, ASC 820, and ASC 718 standards, IFRS 3 and 13, and IRS sections 409A stock compensation and 165g3; performing research and valuations using Bloomberg, Capital IQ, IBISWorld, EIU, RoyaltySource, and SNL Financial; utilizing valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow income approach, guideline public company and guideline public transaction market approach, and assetbased cost approach methods; preparing multiple business enterprise and intangible asset valuation reports; performing valuation of intangible assets using multiperiod excess earnings, relief from royalty, withandwithout, and distributor methods; providing valuations of intangible assets, including backlogs, core deposits, trademarks, trade names, customer relationships, distributor relationships, workforce, developed technology, internally developed software, inprocess RD, noncompete agreements, and above or belowmarket contracts; performing business and legal entity valuations for mergers and acquisitions, tax, management planning, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting purposes; utilizing BlackScholesMerton option pricing model and Monte Carlo simulation model to perform valuations of securities and options; participating in proposal development efforts and strategic planning for engagements; and leading teams of valuation specialists, including assigning and reviewing work and providing training and mentoring. In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Masters degree and three years of experience as stated above. Position requires 10 travel.
