Clari, Inc. Clari specializes in a cloudbased, enterprise sales forecasting and execution platform. The Associate Data Scientist position is not entrylevel; it is an integral part of growing and maintaining our operations requiring advanced knowledge to research, evaluate, and implement algorithms, machine learning models, and data science systems to continually improve our predictive sales management platform. In order to identify the key factors that affect sales performance, the steps to improve them, and the metrics to evaluate them, she must be skilled inwith Linear and Logistic Regression Modeling; Time Series Imputation and Clustering; DBMS Database Management System; Data Science Web Application; and Model Building and Machine Learning. She must be skilled inwith AB and ABC Testing to develop and improve Claris software stack for data analysis and management. She must be also skilled inwith Linear and Logistic Regression Modeling, Time Series Imputation and Clustering, and Model Building and Machine Learning to research, investigate, and evaluate various machine learning algorithms for accuracy and value for specific analytics problems. She must be skilled inwith DBMS Database Management System, Data Science Web Application and Model Building and Machine Learning to develop algorithms for feature extraction and feature engineering using very large, highdimensional data sets from multiple signaldata sources. She must be skilled inwith Data Science Web Application and Model Building and Machine Learning to conduct research and stay up to date with the latest academic advances in data research; analyze and develop strategies to improve Claris core sales enablement product through data science, and to work within the product team to understand key highvalue problems in the enterprise sales productivity domain that can be solved; collaborate and participate in regular meetings with Claris product and custom success team to understand the business and functional requirements for all data science modules and implementations; present new data science and machine learning ideas, models, and tools that develop a strong public profile for Clari; and highlight the knowledge across industry forums, public conferences and meetups. Without an advanced, theoretical background gained through at least a Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, or related, the applicant would not possess the advanced knowledge gained from academic coursework, research project, teaching assistantship, or practical training through internship or coop required for the role. The educational requirement and the required advanced knowledge bear a reasonable relationship to the occupation in the context of our business and are essential to perform the job in a reasonable manner. Because Claris realtime engagement data and insights platform to manage cloud applications is on the cutting edge of the industry, a lower degree e.g. a Bachelors degree or Associates degree in the same field does not provide the theoretical and advanced knowledge required to be able to contribute to our unique and industryshaping technologies. Likewise, experience instead of an advanced degree would not provide the level of theoretical and advanced knowledge required for the position at Clari.
