Specific Skills

Complete requirements for the position are as follows Twoyear vocational certificate or degree in Horticulture, Landscape Technology, or related field. In lieu of 2 year certificate or degree, will accept 2 years of prior work experience in landscapegarden installation and maintenance. In addition,must have 2 years of experience with the following working with plant material use and other Landscape Hardscape materials;br installations with all landscape material; and installation of small hardscapes like limestone stepper pathways, fountain installations, and boulder outcroppings.br br Must have or be able to obtain a valid Minnesota drivers license and driving record must meet insurance carrier requirements. Must be able to obtain and maintain a commercial drivers medical certification within 30 days of starting.br Must be personally capable of consistently lifting up to 85 lbs., occasionally to 100 lbs., and on rare occasions to 150 lbs. This includes being capable of individually loading and unloading trucks daily requiring lifting to 100 lbs. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, for extended periods of time at customer sites, and work on difficult terrain like hills, steps or over low walls.br br Position is based out of and reports to Bachmans primary location in Minneapolis, Minnesota each day, but will be required to travel to and work from unanticipated landscape project sites within the following counties surrounding the primary work location Hennepin, Dakota, Ramseybr Scott, Carver and Washington.br br Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
