Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field of study, plus 6 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Guidewire Developer, Programmer Analyst, AssociateProjects, Sr. AssociateProjects or similar experience in the Application Design and Development area. Must have 6 years of experience with each of the following designing and developing Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration working in all three layers of the application Data Model, User Interface, and Business Rules; providing technical advisory and reporting services for various Guidewire Solutions; and implementing standard guidelines for writing Gosu Code in PCF files, Libraries, and RuleSets. Specific experience must also include coordinating deployment activities to ensure that changes were recorded and processed consistently as part of change management process; creating UML models; participating in various estimation and planning sessions; creating reusable utility Gosu files and Proof of Concepts for integrations; participating in evaluation of products and components to replace legacy applications policy and admin applications; interacting with stakeholders to understand requirements and assess technical feasibility; participating in defect management and prioritization; leading and guiding junior developers in delivering requirements or tasks; and reviewing and approving code for junior developers. Must be willing to occasionally travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely is available.
