Because this position requires an advancedlevel of engineering and computational design expertise, the employer has determined that a Masters Degree is required. The required graduate programs prepare students to plan and develop complex structural engineering design projects, including those relevant to this position. In addition to learning engineering fundamentals, students are required to participate in rigorous research projects and spend hours completing lab work. In addition, the advancedlevel coursework allows them to examine and understand the theoretical underpinnings of the field. Because this Developer I is focused on applying various computational approaches to real engineering practice areas, the employer has determined that a combination of a university education and handson experience is necessary. The position requires a significant level of responsibility, including automationoptimization of engineering tasks with data processing, analysis, transfer, visualization; Innovative project deliverables via interactive webpages providing unique analytical content; and Machine learning across our full range of engineering services.
