Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to public engagement through their teaching, service, and scholarship.br br Full and current knowledge and practice of artful lighting design in a theatrical context including industry standard instrumentation, consoles, softwareprograms, gear, and safety, and the ability to effectively convey this information to the beginning, intermediate, and advanced student body.br br Full and current knowledge of sound design in a theatrical context including industry standard sound equipment, consoles, softwareprograms, and safety, and the ability to effectively convey this information to the beginning, intermediate, and advanced student. Final candidates are subject to criminal sex offender background checks. Some vacancies also require credit or motor vehicle checks.br br Prefer three years of teaching at the University level and ability to work diplomatically and collaboratively within a school that encompasses multiple disciplines.
