Cont. from H.11 develop and produce construction documentation, including documenting architectural plans, sections, elevations, and details in imperial or metric standards work in conjunction with sustainable design leadership in the continued improvement and development of highperformance design to maintain and improve the quality and consistency of design environment and deliverables; apply architectural principles to review related shop drawings, submittals, samples and mockups; understand implications of project delivery methods and maintain compliance with established milestones; assist in responding to requests for information RFIs, preparing addenda and reviewing and responding to contractor change orders; conduct site visits and progress meetings to observe construction progress and prepare field observation reports and punch lists; conduct administration, distribution, and tracking of drawings and documents throughout the construction administration process; develop and maintain effective and productive relationships with clients.br br Requires Bachelor of Architecture 5 year or foreign equivalent plus 1 year of experience to include assisting in predesign and all design phases of corporatecommercial, healthcare, including new construction and renovation; performing 2D3D drafting, modeling, rendering, importing and rationalizing complex geometry for optimization using Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and freehand sketching; developing and designing project booklets using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and PowerPoint; preparing 2D and 3D presentationdesign drawings for clientproject team review; analyzing sketches, photographs, notes, and site survey of existing conditions and other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawings to solve technical issues of design in relation to site conditions, building structure, HVAC, electrical and plumbing system, fire protection and materials for detailing; conducting site survey of existing conditions and taking asbuilt measurements; developing site design alternative studies requiring site plans, site sections, 3D digital massing and physical site modeling; developing site analysis studies requiring site photography, base drawings, and diagrams; coordinating with building codes and regulations to incorporate research and data into architectural designs; producing key room diagrams, including operating rooms, imaging rooms, intensive care units ICUs, interventional imaging, emergency examtrauma rooms, universal bed units, and research and educational spaces for review with the clients and architectural project team to ensure correct space and quantity assumptions which meet all requirements for use in full life cycle departmental and hospital medical planning; coordinating with clients and consultants for medical equipment planning; producing space organization diagrams and functional concept plans indicating appropriate adjacencies within and among departments in the hospital; producing room data sheets RDS to give a detailed description of the finishes, fixtures and fittings, mechanical and electrical requirements that will be required for each room or space; developing a comprehensive understanding of clients program requirements and standards and policies for completion; participating in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors on a given project and coordinate for client and agency review and approval; assisting project managers and project architects with developing and maintaining drawing standards throughout the project; developing and producing construction documentation, including documenting architectural plans, sections, elevations, and details in imperial or metric standards; understanding implications of project delivery methods and maintain compliance with established milestones.
