The individual must possess financial sophistication and knowledge to respond effectively to inquiries from both internal and external constituents, including our staff, clients, regulators and others parties, as required.br br Therefore, it is necessary that the qualified individual possess, at a minimum, a Masters Degree in Operations Research or Financial Engineering and a minimum of six 6 years of professional experience in a private equity environment or investment banking. Also possessing a technical background through a degree in electrical or computer engineering which provides analytical skills in evaluating technology and technology enabled businesses and some level of prior experience working in an operationally focused role is a strong plus. Through the required formal education and experience, an individual acquires the financial and operational skills and ability to develop and interpret financial analyses including returnoninvestment, total cost of ownership, net present value, etc., as it pertains to evaluating investments in small to lower middlemarket portfolio companies. These skills are essential to effectively fulfill the highlevel, technical duties and responsibilities of the position of Vice President with our company.
