Experience must include eighteen months of reviewing and documenting productlevel accounting requirements for interfacing source systems across all business processes trade origination, trade booking and processing, cash receipts, accounting and reporting to move existing capabilities from legacy system platforms to target system platforms; working with IT specialists to facilitate automating processes to derive accounting strings and record journal entries to general ledgers; collaborating with accounting managers and IT teams to resolve cross validation rule errors and post journal entries to the GLs; assessing data flows between stakeholders subledger and general ledgers; performing UAT procedures and comparing results generated from automated systems with results from manual processes to validate and resolve crossvalidation errors and ensure that automated systems function properly; participating in monthend closing procedures, including PL postings, balance sheets substantiations, and reconciliations to General Ledgers; and mentoring and coaching junior team members. Position requires 80 travel.
