Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related field and two years of experience as a clinical laboratory scientist. Must have a valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist Medical Technologist license from the State of California.br br Experience must include the followingbr br Experience at a large hospital 200 bed performing complex surgical procedures.br Experience performing multiple types of microbiology tests per shift.br Experience performing all functions in a Lab Information System, processing specimens for microbiology testing, as well as reading and resulting microbiology tests including but not limited to Gram stains, AFB stains, fungal smear preparations, smears for blood parasites, complex bacterial culture workup identification and susceptibility testing.br Experience working independently without supervision and troubleshooting instrumentation.
