EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS The position requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field or the foreign equivalent thereof and five years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in product development of electronic and software based systems, including three years of experience in a Mentors Xpedition and Altiums ECAD; b simulation using PSpice and MATLAB; c scripting languages, such as Python; d low noise and low power analog design; e switching power supply design; f microprocessor or microcontroller design experience. Must also include one year of experience in developing technical plans, preparing Statements of Work, and supporting business developers; and in a technical leadership role for medical device development.br br Alternatively, may qualify with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field or the foreign equivalent thereof. Where Mastersqualified would, in addition, need to have three years of experience in product development of electronic and software based systems, and in a Mentors Xpedition and Altiums ECAD; b simulation using PSpice and MATLAB; c scripting languages, such as Python; d low noise and low power analog design; e switching power supply design; f microprocessor or microcontroller design experience. Must also include one year of experience in developing technical plans, preparing Statements of Work, and supporting business developers; and in a technical leadership role for medical device development.br br STATEMENT OF BENEFICIARY QUALIFICATIONS The beneficiary holds the equivalent to a US Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from RMIT University, earned in 2005. The alien also holds the equivalent to a US Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from RMIT University, issued in 2000. Documentation of the same from a qualified credential evaluator can be produced. The alien meets the experience requirements of this position 3 years through his work experience with Ferranti Technologies which provided 1 year, 1 month, 6 days of relevant experience; the work experience with Sepura Limited, which provided 2 years, 2 months, 25 days of the experience the position requires; and the work experience with Cambridge Consultants Limited UK, which provided 1 year, 7 months, 29 days of the required experience.
