The position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and five 5 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or related engineering occupation; or a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and three 3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or related engineering occupation.br br Per 20 CFR 656.17h4, employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.br br Experience must have included three 3 years of experience with the following Performing structural and dynamic testing such as CAE and Physical test to assess product performance, develop and design countermeasures and optimizations and ensure product designs and process execution support quality requirements are in serial production; and, developing automated welding processes and tooling to ensure process design, technical specifications and supplier quotes are met; and, one 1 year of experience with the following Financial Management; working with automotive drawings, CAD, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances GDT; leading cross functional development teams, conducting Simultaneous Development Team SDT meetings and leading corrective action meetings; and, program management such as PMP to manage overall product risk by driving corrective actions to off track deliverables.br br Position also requires up to 30 of national and international travel.
