Masters degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related discipline Will accept a Bachelors degree in the same fields with at least 5 years of related progressive experience in lieu of a Masters degree each alternative with at least 1 year of experience in i development and scaleupscaledown of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes; ii process investigations, and continuous improvement for drug product manufacturing utilizing experience in chemical engineering principles, pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, and unit operations such as high shear granulation, fluid bed granulation and drying, tablet compaction and tablet coating as well as analytical testing methodologies like assay, dissolution and disintegration testing, design of experiments DOE univariate and multivariate data analysis and process analytical technology PAT tools such as NIR and UVVis spectroscopy; iii utilizing programming skills and computational modeling tools such as MATLAB, ANSYS, JMP, DOE, MINITAB and Excel; and iv implementing changes in pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes, batch size, and ensuring products and processes are maintained in compliance with cGLPcGMP and current pharmaceutical industry regulations per FDA and EMA.
