In addition, experience with the following skills is required 1 Installing, configuring, upgrading, monitoring, capacity planning, supporting, and automating Teradata databases in SUSE Linux AWS platforms while ensuring that databases are SOX, PCI, and PCNI compliant; 2 Installing Teradata software including PDCR on Teradata instances using PDCR script and installing Teradata client with the upgrade on servers and user machines; 3 Designing, deploying, administering, and supporting Backup and Recovery solution using Data Domain DSA products and setting up weekly daily back up of critical production data to meet compliance requirements; 4 Setting up bulk data migration to QA test environments using Teradata Parallel Transport utilities including TPT Fast export, Fast Load Multiload and conducting design reviews for ETL Reporting workloads periodically; 5 Conducting performance tuning on Data warehouse application using PDCR toolkit on large databases over 50TB to deliver response to meet business SLA based on application; 6 Leveraging PDCR tool kit PDCR data to identify candidate queries workload weekly and providing optimization recommendation to ETL, Reporting, Tactical and Adhoc workloads using Materialization, Join Indexes and Common access path access; 7 Creating scripts to manage the capacity with dynamic targeted Elastic capacity on demand ePOD utilizing TASM View Point APIs; and 8 Setting up thresholds to manage runaway workload terminate impactful workloads and setting up scripts using perlshell script to provide priority to users for specific period.
