Must have bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in mechanical engineering or a related field, plus five 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered, Mechanical Equipment Engineer, or a related position. Must have five 5 years of progressively responsible experience with all of the following Conducting Equipment Startup, field commissioning, and troubleshooting; Cryogenic Air Separation plants; authoring specifications for quoting and requisitioning of Rotating, Auxiliary, and Backup equipment; performing mechanical field assembly of rotating equipment including compressors, pumps and turbines; Experience with pertinent industry standards including ASME, API, NFPA, AND CGA; reviewing supplier submitted documentation and drawings, as well as internally generated process and wiring schematics, control systems, and commissioning documents; conducting supplier shop performance testing and preshipment quality inspections; completing economic evaluations and equipment selections using total cost of ownership analyses that consider capital costs, reliability, maintenance, and operating expenses, and experience with technical representation of equipment in Process Hazard Analyses PHA.
