Business analysis experience in the financial industry with financial products which include cash products such as fixed income and equities, and more complex products such as derivative instruments including futures, options and swaps. Demonstrated understanding of the Prime Brokerage, Custody Fund Services business, including managing requirements with the interdependencies and cross functional processes. Demonstrated understanding of risk exposurecalculations for Asset Servicing events and Trade Life cycle, both US and International, including various corporate action event types and their associated client elections, options, and knowledge of the full lifecycle of business process. Demonstrated understanding of Asset Servicing Risk Metrics Calculators, Syncova Optima and Margin Calculation. Demonstrated knowledge of logical data models and construction of complex data queries using Squirrel SQL on Hadoop Hbase Bigdata tables. Experience working with Hbase database and Kafka streaming platform for research, analysis, and investigation of business processes and financial data analysis. Experience utilizing Visio to create process maps and data flow diagrams and leveraging Atlassian JIRA to document requirements specifications, functional specifications, use case scenarios, acceptance testing and user stories. Experience in data quality control procedures and defect management tools, including HP, Mercury Quality Center and JIRA. Experience managing data visualization dashboards using Tableau. Experience understanding new business requirements, analyzing complex cross functional business processes, defining integrated requirements and facilitating the design of integrated solutions process, technical, and organizational. Experience conducting interviews, workshopsbrainstorming sessions, and document use cases, providing UI wireframes, and writing functional, technical, and data specifications and working closely with senior business users to validate prior to application development. Experience with an iterative software development model, including handling requirements changes as well as demonstrated knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle SDLC in Agile.
