Specific Skills

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field plus 4 years of professional technology solution engineering experience. Must have experience implementing technology solutions using structured methodologies, such as agile SCRUM, Kanban etc. andor waterfall. Must have experience with public cloud providers, experience implementing off the shelf products, experience with realtime monitoring and control technology systems, and electrical utility experience. Must have demonstrated knowledge of translating business outcomes, business requirements and technical requirements into technical designs for new technology solutions or enhancements to existing technology solutions, while following architectural standards and organizational policies and understanding financial principles as they apply to technology investments such as cost to achieve, cost to operate, depreciation, and maintenance. Must have demonstrated knowledge of Basic Automations Principles and components such as RTUs, IEDs, or Controller. Must have demonstrated knowledge of Basic Networking and Communication Protocol including TCPIP, Modbus or DNP3. Must have demonstrated knowledge of reading, editing and creating electrical and network schematics and diagrams; SEL devices and associated software; and substation equipment and operations. Employer will accept a Masters degree and 2 years of experience as detailed above.
