Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.br br Experience in H.6, H.8, or H.10 within the graduate program to include hands on research or professional work experience involving 1 testing photonic integrated circuits and highbandwidth RF amplifiers including, baredie and packaged component testing, as well as fiber coupling to photonic circuit and probing; 2 developing software in Python or equivalent programming language with objectoriented design including, handson coding for test automation and measurement data analysis, source control tools like GIT, experience with scientific libraries e.g. Numpy, SciPy, matplotlib; 3 performing VNA and ESA RF measurements of electrical and electrooptic components including gain, bandwidth, and nonlinear effects such as total harmonic distortion, gain compression, and third order intercept including, planning measurement power and noise budgets, performing RF calibration, and deembedding of test fixture; and 4 performing statistical analysis and implementing signal processing of measurement data to extract key device performance parameters including, analyzing noise sources and achievable accuracies in electrooptical measurements.br br In H.8, employer only requires 2 years exp. stated herein in Items 3 and 4.br br Also, employer will accept a Bachelors degree and 5 years of exp of work experience and 3 years of exp. stated herein in items 1 and 2; and, 2 years of exp. stated herein in items 3 and 4 above.
