Provides training to university personnel of use of the universitys platform. Oversees and coordinates platform changes, updates, hierarchy, and overall operation. 5 Represent and communicate the effectiveness of University and other assessment activities to appropriate internal and external constituents to include Articulates assessment information to internal and external bodies including the Higher Learning Commission HLC, UCMs Board of Governors, the Missouri Department of Higher Education MDHE, the Coordinating Board for Higher Education CBHE, departments, and other constituents as needed note department collecting assessment data will have primary responsibility for control and interpretation of their data. Reviews and reports how assessment data is being used to improve student learning. Serves as an advisor and exofficio member for Faculty Senate University Assessment Council FSUAC. Represents the Provost on the Faculty Senate University Assessment Council FSUAC. Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with internal and external constituents as it relates to assessment efforts; e.g., HLC liaison, directors of assessment at other institutions, deans, and department chairs. Establishes and maintains excellent working relationship with State officials at MDHE and CBHE.br br 5 Provide leadership for strategic planning in relationship to assessment and institutional effectiveness activities to include Develops a strategic plan for university assessment. Develops a strategic plan for General Education assessment. Conveys how assessment activities fit into the universitys strategic plan and student success.br br 5 Pursue professional development related to assessment and accreditation to include Maintain knowledge of best practices in outcomes assessment and resources related to assessment strategies; and regional accreditation requirements and practices.
