This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, or related field plus three 3 years of related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, or related field plus 5 years related progressive, postbaccalaureate experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 designing, developing, and supporting highly performant, custom build software applications that include APIs, microservices, database platforms structured unstructured, CICD, and automation; 2 working with various authentication mechanisms and using Message Queue systems including IBM MQ, RabbitMQ and Kafka; 3 designing and implementation of crawlers, microservices and performant textbased search functionality with TDD test driven development and working with log aggregation, metric visualization, and distributed tracing; 4 working on the design and implementation of ContinuousIntegration Continuous deployment solutions and Cloud based solutions and utilizing DevOps tools, processes, and using Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git; and 5 working in the following environments JDK 1.8, Groovy, Spring 4.x, Spring Boot 1.4.3, Netflix OSS, MongoDB, Elasticsearch 5.x, MySQL, Gradle 2.13, Spock 1.1, Rabbit MQ, Jenkins, SonarQube, Tomcat, Logstash, Kibana, Nagios, Docker. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Masters program. Position includes a telecommute benefit within commuting distance to Minneapolisarea Target office, as directed.
