Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma and 4 years of experience in concrete forming. Experience must include project managing; setting and changing priorities to meet business needs; scheduling projects while managing multiple projects concurrently; training project technicians on shoring, self climbing, protection screen, wall form work, creating Bill of materials, and performing drawing calculations; reading blueprints of various structures within the Infrastructure, Highrise, commercial and other building sectors; AutoCAD, project management software, and computer applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; checking and approving drawings and static calculations according to internal and governmental construction standards; performing static analysis of concrete forming systems for shoring, self climbing, protection screen, and wall forms and loading platforms; practical understanding of concrete forming systems and assisting in the field with correct assembly and use of systems according to field drawings; technical knowledge of concrete and common methods of forming structures built out of concrete; making presentations and explaining to customers the formwork solutions and design; creating Bill of materials based on drawings in order to provide pricing and delivery lists for projects; and practical understanding of Building methodology and site logistics including construction equipment, building schedule, and site constraints.
